This one has a funky lead vocal that works. It's playful, slightly quirky, but above all it doesn't bore us to death after just thirty seconds of listening.
Ravellas' "Puppettes" is an indie rock jam that is fun to listen to. You get a lot of excellent singing with a ton of killer instrumentals throughout the song.
From beginning to end, the best part about "Puppettes" is trying to figure out where the male vocalist will go next, and even where the beat will end up.
It's a nice change from all the normal pop shit we've been getting bombarded with, this fourth quarter.
A quick mention to Izzy Bizu's "A Moment of Madness," album. That's another amazing vocal experience, all to itself.
