Why do we like this?

Redspencer might not have a Twitter account as of my writing this, but they've certainly left their imprint in Australia. Having played support to the likes of Holy Holy and The Preatures, it only makes sense that the trio make their Indie Shuffle debut.

Fortunately, when I was approached with a request to premiere "Happy Slow Riverbends," it didn't take much for the song to win me over. There's something crisp and easy-to-listen to in its lo-fi approach, a clear hint that the Melbourne band are onto something.

The song will appear on Redspencer’s upcoming debut EP, due for release in June 2015 via Deaf Ambitions.
