Rex Orange County gives us a smooth, fresh, and immensely indulgent track.
"THREAT" is anything but a threat — it's a track that is ironically super comforting. It's calm, warm, and oh so floaty. The track gives off sunset vibes, but it's also 100% something I'd bop to around a campfire.
There is something familiar, maybe it's the thematic ideas, the "THREAT" of new romance, the journey, and experience or maybe it's just familiar and homely because Rex Orange County is a master of the good first impression and "THREAT" is possibly the best intro for someone who doesn't know them.
