RITUAL

Almost a year to the day London-based trio RITUAL released their stunning EP, From The City To The Wilderness, they return with brand new single "Cinnamon." Taken from their forthcoming third EP, Every Night Another But Not You, "Cinnamon" is a woozy and seductive affair. The manipulated vocals and warped production are hypnotising, while the accompanying film clip is tantalising.  The track deals with themes of lust and addiction, with RITUAL having this to say about "Cinnamon": "...sonically we wanted to keep pushing the envelope, it's more challenging and the arrangement is conceptual and free from the boundaries of typical song structure. Lyrically the song is open to interpretation but for us, it's about the darker side of lust, sex and addiction. It's about craving something you know has the power to destroy you, surrendering yourself to that impulse."
