Florida MC Robb Bank$ is the latest of the Gen Y rappers getting props from the blogosphere. Bank$, a member of the Smart Stunnas (SS) crew and a close friend of SpaceGhostPurrp, has dropped his latest mixtape, Tha City, featuring the rollicking first single "On Me."
Raw and rugged, there's a dark and dirty edge to Bank$, especially his lyrics, with sex, drugs and violence ever present in his narrative. Nuri's thugged-out production and an apparent shot at A$AP Rocky ("at least you look crazy ol' silly ass nigger/puttin' on ya momma dress don't make you no killer/shit, Norman Bates ass nigga"), only enhances Bank$ hard and direct flow.
