Rodes Rollins

I can't keep away from a cool vocal. "Young & Thriving," by Rodes Rollins, boasts a super swaggy and super cool vocal.  Besides that, the song is slow-paced yet non-brooding in tone. Sure, it's a take on youth escaping Rodes, and all of us, but it doesn't feel like I want to kill myself as I listen. Instead, it feels a bit edgy, a bit sexy and a bit fresher than any of the other singers in this range out there. (Think Banks.)  Watching Westworld on HBO, I picture some slow-motioned Wild Wild West type of shoutout happening to this tune. A lot of muted action at a smooth pace.  Maybe you'll hear what I mean. Either way, you'll dig the shit out of this one, for sure.  And it's on our YouTube.
