Why do we like this?
So what? I'm a romantic. Sure, the new Rogue Wave album is a tad poppy. "˜Tis all right. Does it affect me? No. Am I a pussy? Perhaps. Am I in love with the album? You're god damn right I am. From the get goin' they have you on your feet with Solitary Gun, which round houses you to the dome after a 30-second acoustic intro in to a summer beach party hosted by the Jonas Brothers.

Now I can get in to the sob story about how the bassist died and how the lead singer who slipped discs could recoup and make an epic album. I'll spare you. Whoever put this album together knew exactly what they were doing and why; kicking ass and chewing big league.

Alone, the title track (Permalight) is enough for you sign your mortgage over to the band. They've earned it. Add in We Will Make A Song Destroy, and they already have rights to your firstborn's name.

Right, so I'm being a bit dramatic. Sue me. I'll get down to it. This album is great. Download, buy or rip. It will make your summer days a little brighter.
