Why do we like this?

Royce 5'9" came through with one of the most underrated rap albums of the 2016 with Layers, and if this latest freestyle is anything to go by, his 2017 is shaping up to be just as productive. 

Following on from last week's freestyle over Phresher's "Wait A Minute," Nickel Nine brings the heat on DJ Khaled's "I Got The Keys." Once again proving his lyrical prowess, Royce goes hard as he drops bars about Fetty Wap, Donald Glover's Migos shout out, Ted DiBiase and fake rappers.

You can tell Detroit's finest is enjoying himself on this one, as he introduces the track with, "Yeah, I'm starting to have fun now, so you know," and you can feel it in his infectious flow.
