Why do we like this?

I must confess that these days I fluctuate between liking and disliking Say Lou Lou. At times, their approach to music-making comes across as all too somber for my ears; on the other hand, there's definitely something soothing about it that hits the right mood.

"Nothing But A Heartbeat" is the Stockholm-based duo's latest single, set to be included on their debut album Lucid Dreaming, available via Á Deux at the end of February. It has a slightly more-upbeat tempo than many of their prior songs, perhaps a persuasive edge that ultimately convinced me to share this song with you!
