The Boardwalk Bounces
A thumping bass-driven track from the consistently surprising Scoobert Doobert.
"Boardwalk" is just another song that justifies my anger with not having discovered Scoobert Doobert earlier. The bassy alt-rock speed slams through this track like a shaken soda can left in the sun. It warps in with a special, almost-otherwordly sound and then immediately lands in quirk central. It's a bop...and a good one at that! Not only is it a good old song for a boardwalk stroll but if you aren't jamming (or even running) to this track by the end I'd be surprised.
It's youthful, it's eclectic, and it's immeasurably enjoyable.
