Why do we like this?
Echoes and Repeats
A pulsing and powerful breakbeat carries Seb WIldblood's "Jobi" on the shoulders of pure electronica bliss.
"Jobi" is a pure travel beat, an experience best taken in when moving, when absorbing the world. The track is so heavily reminiscent of Moby it almost feels like a homage. The track crescendos and echoes over its always-present layer of breakbeats. It's a masterclass in the main ingredients of a well-designed electronica track — echoes, pulses, beats, and builds.
It's a track that stands on the shoulder of giants, but has no problem in perching its own space amongst them.
