Why do we like this?

"Fire Sign" is the first ever solo track from Sensible J, best known as producer and live percussionist for Melbourne rapper Remi. Calling on two of Australia's best rappers - Remi and Sampa the Great - to help out, this is honestly one of the best Australian tracks of the year so far. 

Opening on bright tribal-infused beats and twinkling synths, with a combination of subtle instrumental layers (almost harking back to that wide ‘90s Missy Elliott sound) and glistening electro-rap beats, "Fire Sign" is smooth, soulful and utterly irresistible.

Remi and Sampa (who opened for Kendrick Lamar on tour in Australia last year) have previously collaborated on Remi's track "For Good", and the pair, along with Sensible J, are currently on tour together.

There's an electrifying chemistry between these three artists, and the result is something that shouldn't just take Australia by storm, but the international hip-hop world, too.
