Why do we like this?

I must admit I've slept on Skizzy Mars' latest, but am glad to have finally gotten around to the young legend's latest because it's tight.

"We Used To Be The Shit" is a re-fix of the Brooklyn hailing Miniature Tigers funky tune which they released late in the spring. The original is super dope itself, but Skizzy laces eloquently, providing insight that only a Manhattan social veteran like himself can put through a microphone.

When I met up with Skizzy over the winter he was bumping Minature Tigers at the crib, so it's very cool to see this collaboration come to fruition. Apparently, the partnership is out of mutual admiration as well. Young Skiz joined the crew during their set this week at The Westway in NYC. Looks like some epic vibes.
