Sky High Fly Guys The Kennedy Flow

Boston, MA has a long and full lineage in hip-hop, though it's often dwarfed in public perception by its proximity to New York.

If I sounded a bit smart just now, it's because I'm completely biting off of Dart Adams. A native son of Bean Town, Dart is a breathing encyclopedia of all things music, especially all things hip-hop with a particular focus on Boston. 

That's why when he sent me a heads up about Sky High Fly Guys, I had to peep. The young rag tag crew of Boston spitters recently released Live...Before You Die, an LP that is unapologetically raw. 

My favorite track from the collection is "The Kennedy Flow" featuring the fly guys Shush Jones, Rome Edwards, Just Julez, and Bodega Jay. The beat reminds me of early Roc-A-Fella Just Blaze and the fun just oozes from every bar.
