Female-fronted indie rock. It's a simple formula, but I think it's why I've fallen for Sky Larkin -- a band we'd never featured until today.
"Loom" comes off upcoming album Motto, set for release September 16th. The name for the album came to lead singer Katie Harkin while she was touring as a member of Wild Beasts (passing through a whopping 28 countries over the course of 20 months), an experience that greatly influenced the Sky Larkin's sound.
