Why do we like this?

When I was first pitched this song the publicist said I "think you'll dig this one." For some reason that made me want to hate it, but i listened anyway.

Turns out she was right. I dig this one. There's something playful and fun about it that delights my eardrums.

Slaptop rose to prominence roughly a year ago with the release of his debut single "Sunrise," a track that bears little resemblance to today's feature. He followed that up with a second single by the title "Distraction" about six months ago, another divergent song that you can check out here.

Enough of the dwelling in the past, though. Today we're here to listen to "Away," so I'm going to go ahead and let you do just that.
