Sleepy Soul

Like a cozy cruise through space, "Hazy" is easy to enjoy. Sleepy Soul, a collaboration between Nick Hummel and Michael LeFevre, will release their first EP soon and it will be filled with goodies. However, this particular single stands out, as it’s a new approach to what they usually sound like, a departure from their energy-filled dance tracks that lands softly on a dreamy, almost bedroom pop sounding tune. This is an atmospheric song with a crooning chorus that regularly takes center stage, allowing the synth to simply participate as a simple beat that comes and goes. The lyrics are a cute ode to being yourself with friends, not caring about superfluities, and just enjoying the moment.
