Sleigh Bells brought the noise to Fort Lauderdale this past Saturday at The Culture Room. Oh boy, what a show it was!
They went on stage around 10pm, opening with "Minnie" from Bitter Rivals. The crowd was dancing, jumping, and rocking when the first guitar chord was struck. Alexis Krauss and Derek Miller were supported by a drummer and a bassist, creating a great, full sound. Alexis Krauss has an incredible stage presence. She stood toward the front of the stage, and at times ran around while singing and grabbing the crowd surfers' hands. She Even jumped into the crowd on the last song, "A/B Machines."
They played all their noteworthy loud songs, including "Comeback Kid," "Crown On The Ground," "Kids," "Born to Lose," and new ones "Bitter Rivals" and "You Don't Get Me Twice." They seemed to finish with "Infinity Guitars," but of course, there was an encore, which included "Young Legends" and "A/B Machines."
I highly recommend seeing Sleigh bells live. Check out tour dates here.
