In light of Disclosure's "Tondo," and the fact that the original to that remake was also a feature on the compilation that contained Slim Young's "Otan Hunu," it's important that we stay ahead of the curve by catching these top re-releases before they get remade by popular modern acts. Another classic example of this trend being Tame Impala's jüj up of Steve Monite's "Only You."This post of mine is also a reminder to take some of my spunk to the DNA bank; I hope to do something important enough in this lifetime that they'll unfreeze it and duplicate me at a later stage. When I get my remake, please endow me with a slightly less crooked nose and a deeper voice. Thanks.
