Why do we like this?

Our favorite cold coffee duo has gifted us a new single and video this morning, ahead of their upcoming album What Now.

North Carolina's Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn soared to indie stardom with their 2014 self-titled, debut album. I have no doubt you've seen Meath and her fabulous gold platform shoes strut across stages at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and SXSW. The duo is electric before a crowd, and have mastered showcasing their bedroom folktronica in a live setting.

"Die Young" might just be my favorite track I've heard yet by Esso. Meath's introspective, barely sung words are balanced by a sea of synths and enough umph to make you move. You should be excited for what this duo will release later this spring.

What Now is out April 28 via Loma Vista.
