Why do we like this?
Sondre Lerche is only four years older than I am (which makes him almost 29), and he's already being hailed as one of the most accomplished singer-songwriters to come out of Norway (or all of Europe, for that matter). Now he's based in Brooklyn, where he's been creating music and in June, released a new full-length album, Private Caller.

I know that by posting this single, also called "Private Caller," a month after the album's release means I'm a little late to the party, but hey -- better late than never, right? I really love this song, and the entire album has been slowly making its way into my heavy rotation list.

Sondre Lerche is insanely talented, and if you're familiar at all with his older albums, you'll notice that on Private Caller, he's ditched some of his more soft-spoken approaches for a more direct, catchy sound. And it works.
