SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE, all caps when you spell the band's name, goes full noise rock on this new cut. Whereas their last album was much more psychedelic and hazy in nature, this new music seems to have taken a turn for the darker. From the aggressive video to the abrasive wall of guitars, there's plenty to love about this new direction.As on their last record, Hypnic Jerks, the production is phenomenal and the vocals are absolutely on point. This band is proving itself to be not just a powerhouse within their own lane, but a versatile beast that can wrangle different styles. Not convinced?
