Why do we like this?

St. Tropez's new single "Son of God" sounds like the opposite of anything pure and virginal, contrary to the song's title.

That doesn't mean that this track is less-than-stellar. Quite the opposite actually. Jam-packed with gritty guitar and and punchy beats, there's a balanced tug-o-war between garage pop and grunge rock. These elements produce a sound that allows a demographic to be reached.
