Why do we like this?

While 2016 has been a year pretty short on positives, one area that does seem to have thrived is the Australian music scene, with an exciting wave of producers breaking through down under. 

Mall Grab has perhaps been the most successful of that cohort so far, but hot on his heels is Newcastle artist Steven Be Calm. 

His track "Girl," an excellent house reworking of Michael Jackson's "Liberian Girl" is perhaps his best work yet, and has been released on UK label Shall Not Fade's White Labels series.

Although the extremely limited edition vinyl has now sold out, you might be able to cop one on the Discogs marketplace, and in the meantime keep up-to-date with Steven BC on Facebook and SoundCloud.
