Part of me is kind of bummed when I hear a funky tune like "07:41." I think it's great that Still Parade can tap into those parallel universes inhabited by space folk like Animal Collective and Tame Impala. The bummer is that I end up wanting to listen to Animal Collective and Tame Impala instead. That's not a knock on Berlin-based Niklas Kramer, whose immense talent is on display not only in the vocals but in those grainy, echoing synths. It's more the musings of a new spectator at the Still Parade.
