Why do we like this?

Rhode Island-based quintet Strawberry Generation are pretty on the scene. As of my writing this they've got less than 1,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and only 21 followers on SoundCloud (though the latter platform's relevance is questionable these days).

Naturally that means that as an "indie" blog we're stoked to be one of the first to pick up on them. The song that piqued my interest was "When You Were Here And I Was Sad," a lovely twee-pop song that manages to come across both sad and happy at the same time.
