Why do we like this?

Ah, here come the breezy songs! Well, sort of.

Strongboi is the brainchild and alter-ego of Alice Phoebe-Lou, and her bandmate Ziv Yamin. Their debut album uses a simple formula that leads with bubbling synths to deliver melancholy, breezy songs just in time for spring.

"Flame" follows that same formula with lyrics like "I wish you could see yourself through my eyes sometime...you might see what I see." Hearing these lyrics over a synth-driven song is an unexpected therapy session on a sunny day.
