Why do we like this?

Heyoooooooo, a brand new track from Sufjan Stevens!

Before you get all worried, there's (mostly) good news: "No Shade In The Shadow Of The Cross" doesn't try to get all experimental. Rather, it holds to a sound reminiscent of Seven Swans, a mostly-melancholic and sad folk album.

Bottom line is that new Sufjan is a good thing, and we're still stoked to hear his upcoming album Carrie & Lowell, whenever that comes.
