SunSquabi describes their slow-burn jam sound as "electronic hyrdo-funk," which sounds awesome to begin with. Combine that with Griz’s signature sax flow, and it makes for a delightful collaboration. The two artists previously worked together on “Get Down” off Griz’s most recent release Say It Loud.
This track is more organic than the electro-funk dance party you might expect, keeping it light on the synthesized sounds (no laser samples or glitchy vocals on this one, sorry). Instead, they showcase their instrument skills, displaying production talent and musicianship simultaneously.
