The long wait for SZA's TDE debut, Ctrl, is almost over, with the songstress releasing first official single "Drew Barrymore."
Produced by Scum and Carter Lang, "Drew Barrymore" finds SZA plagued by insecurities in a relationship she's not quite sure is right for her. She spends the second verse apologising for not being attractive enough or fulfilling the expectations she believes her partner has of her.
The sad lyrics are quite a juxtaposition to SZA's warm, soaring vocals, and the pop melodies make "Drew Barrymore" a song you'll certainly have on repeat this weekend.
