A quiet approach with a loud impact. Tatonic's "The Kids Are Bored" strikes the balance between minimal and groove. It's subtle, understated and yet, manages to capture attention.
The vocal sample from a 1960s drug education video paired with jazzy beats and beautifully emotive keys and horns makes me think I'll keep coming back to this one, sending its play count higher and higher for some time to come.
