The only thing I've been able to listen to recently is Carly Rae Jepsen. Whether that means I'm excessively happy or excessively emotional is up to debate, but I've decided I need to switch it up before I lose all my friends to my singalongs.
In my attempts to come back to the real world, here's another Canadian. Taylor Knox sounds more like he's playing his guitar on a pier or at a skatepark somewhere, but I'm from Los Angeles so I miss those shaggy-haired heartbreakers. "Running Into Love" is an easy, chill listen with more heart than any of those equivalent garage songs that are so often just "girls, skate, weed," but not so much heart that I'm reminded of pains of the real world and flee back to Carly Rae's pop utopia.
