Why do we like this?
British Columbia's own Teen Daze has had some major celebrating going on lately. Not only did he recently get married (I hear the cereal bar was epic), but he also hit 20,000 likes on his Facebook page.
Simply being proud of the growth of his fanbase just wouldn't be enough for Teen Daze though, so to celebrate, he set-up d0wnloads of all his his unreleased work in the form of three .zip files entitled Lost Songs 1, 2, and 3 (You can find the links right here).
Listening to it is kind of like taking a trip through the last few years of Teen Daze's existence, and seeing how he got to where he is today.
The first track off of Lost Songs 1 is called "Two," and it's a super upbeat trip through layers of dense synthesizers and drums, creating the sound that has helped to put Teen Daze on the map. The track also features some samples from Geotic's (Baths' ambient chilled-out alter ego) album Mend. All-in-all, it's a beautiful track and perfect place to start off on this three-part adventure.
I can't wait to see what Teen Daze has in store for 50,000 likes, so get out there and spread the word.
