Why do we like this?

The Aces are a four piece band hailing from Utah, which means very little to me beyond the fact that I can now name two Utah groups that I like (the other being the Mormon Tabernacle Choir).

I mostly reserve my MoTab listening for cycles of romanticized existential dread, while "Baby Who" definitely has the dreamy, mellow pace of perfect song to chill to during the summer. However, its chorus of "I don't need ya now" and energetic flares of guitar means I'll find it much easier to carry it and the rest of the band's woefully short EP, I Don't Like Being Honest, through the rest of the summer, unforeseen heartache, high vibes, or whatever else comes through. (But hopefully no existential dread.)
