Why do we like this?
The Derevolutions are starting off 2014 with an absolute cracker of a single in "Pascualita." I honestly don't know a lot about these guys apart from the fact that they hail from Boston, but it will definitely be interesting to see where this sort of psych-pop sound leads them to this year.

I like to imagine this single as a combination of Unknown Mortal Orchestra's warped vocals and Junior Senior's effervescence and over-the-top instrumentation. Heck, there's even a hip-hop bridge that takes you completely by surprise. A mighty fine single to start the weekend if I do say so myself!
