I must admit... when it comes to mashups, I'm a bit picky as to whether I like them or not. Having said that, I absolutely respect the work that The Hood Internet puts out; they certainly have a knack for mixing unique genres together.
This latest mashup, "Say Yr Name," is definitely one of a kind; I don't think I could ever possess the audacity to combine Destiny's Child's "Say My Name" with Slow Magic's "On Yr Side." The result? Well, they work surprisingly well together. Those flowing verses and the slow tribal beats compliment each other brilliantly, it's as if it's an original single altogether.
Now if Destiny's Child were to make a comeback... well, let's just say that they should get on the phone to Slow Magic so he can lay down some beats.
