The Knocks Trouble (Ft. Absofacto)

The "Trouble" I had with this release was the fact that I was for a good 3 minutes or so looking out for the vocals of Jonathan Visger (the man behind Absofacto).

Feeling deceived, but still indeed having had a really groovy experience all at the same time I turned to the internet. Turns out the entire vocal arrangement is his - just an octave higher perhaps. It's sort of a homage to the earlier work of The Knocks like "Make It Better," where they were truly some of the more clued up samplers out there.

Whether or not you came for Absofacto or The Knocks, I'm sure you'll be staying for the disco inspired sun kissed guitar licks and the effervescent, but at the same time melancholic vocal arrangement.
