Why do we like this?

The Moth & The Flame are an indie rock band orginally from Provo, Utah, but are now L.A.-based.  They currently have a stellar five-track EP out titled &, which was produced by Joey Waronker (Beck, Atoms For Peace).  The album is highly acclaimed, with notable mentions from NPR, BBC 1, The Guardian, MTV Buzzworthy, and me.

After the first listen of "Winsome," I think you will immediately hear the resemblance of Radiohead and Atoms For Peace in the sporatic yet structured nature of the song.  It's definately a catchy track that will help you groove out.

The Moth & The Flame will be releasing a new record this summer, which will be produced by Peter Katis (The National, Frightened Rabbit, Jonsi).

They have also just released a music video for their track "How We Woke Up," which can be seen here.
