The Neighbourhood

On December 4th, The Neighbourhood released the single "Scary Love" in anticipation of the release of their next EP, to imagine. It follows up to their EP HARD which was released in September, and is set to be released January 12th. "Scary Love" echoes similarities to their synth-pop driven tracks like "Cry Baby" and "Daddy Issues" but with a heavier pop influence. This track feels even more similar to "24/7," featured on HARD. "Scary Love" brings The Neighbourhood back to brooding lyrics about an addictive relationship that are equally met with infectious synth. There is something so dangerously good about a song that strikes that sort of balance and no one does it quite like The Neighbourhood.
