Why do we like this?

Before you listen to any of their music, I suppose the first thing you should know about The North is that they are anything but discreet. Exceptionally broad, the London duo's second demo "Broken" is a hauntingly mellow lullaby. Its vast instrumental depth, sweeping phrasing, and desolate lyrics make for a jaw-dropping listening experience.

Steadily swelling in stature throughout, the song's sweeping orchestral statements and rich, soaring vocals seem so far off the capabilities and expectations of just two men.
