Why do we like this?
Back in June, I was on the verge of posting one of the tracks by The Rapture off their new album. The song was "How Deep is Your Love," and I thought it sucked, so I didn't post it. In fact, I haven't even listened to the whole album (which was officially released today). I might need to re-evaluate that, though, because I'm actually quite fond of today's Song of the Day, the title-track "In The Grace of Your Love."
In it, Luke Jenner's crooning vocals add a mellow component to this somewhat atypical track. I say atypical, because as pioneers of the "dance punk" genre, you'd expect that any music by The Rapture would automatically result in dancing. Not quite so with this track...unless it's slow dancing you're seeking.
