Why do we like this?

HELLOOOOOO TO THE SHINS! It's been a while.

I wasn't really sure what to expect from the band with this new one. I suppose I wasn't anticipating much: pretty much all the big boys these days are releasing so-so music that is nice, but doesn't make me want to rush out and share it with everyone.

So, where does this one fall? Probably not my favorite. It's sorta all over the place -- there's a lot going on, and that becomes hard to follow.

Don't get me wrong: it starts out nicely. The verse is catchy. But the overall song? I'm not sure I'll be coming back again and again...

Heartworms will be out on March 10th.
