Why do we like this?

"Dark Bird Is Home" is the first track lifted from the album of the same name from troubadour The Tallest Man On Earth. 

Featuring the Swedish musician singing over an acoustic guitar, "Dark Bird Is Home" is reminiscent of the earnest folk of his early work, that is, until the three and a half minute mark, when the percussion kicks in and the song takes a dramatic change in tempo.

A hugely underrated talent, The Tallest Man On Earth has yet to release a dud album, and after hearing "Dark Bird Is Home," his hot streak looks set to continue.

Dark Bird Is Home is released May 12.
