Why do we like this?
I'm not typically the biggest fan of falsetto vocal delivery but Matt Koenig of The Undercover Dream Lovers has managed to prove an exception to the rule.
His latest single "Peace Out" was written when the worldwide lockdowns first hit. It has hints of Tame Impala but with a softer touch and melody. The complete package manages to tickle my eardrums in more ways than one, and after a tenth listen I still find myself enjoying it. Clearly that's good.
