Why do we like this?

When I last reviewed a single by Sydney band The Upskirts, I described "Mind's A Burden" as an aural explosion of musical brilliance. Well, perhaps the guys read that and decided to step things up a notch on their brand new release "Where" -- which we're happy to premiere for you today.

Off the band's upcoming third EP, it's another bold, confident single from the four-piece. With a well-balanced blend of psych, grunge and shoe-gaze rock, the band generate a considerable amount of musical authority throughout the track. Without sounding overly cliche, this track is epic. It's topped off with wailing vocals, booming guitar riffs and that touch of swagger that only the best rock bands possess.

The Upskirts' third EP is scheduled for release in early 2015.
