The most recent remix to be bestowed upon The xx comes from DJ Panic City, who attempts his own version of "Chained."
When I listen to the atmospheric bass drops, I picture cannons filled with paint blasting my face, and as I motion to wipe my face to protect the eyes, I am shalacked with another paint bomb!
Panic City's remix is a clean dance production laced with synths. Although the magnificent guitar riffs do not find their way into the remix, DJ Panic City made a valiant effort to stray away from the clutter of "calm" "Chained" remixes and its original in his approach.
