Why do we like this?

As much as I loved what I had heard from Thomston back in February, I really didn't have a clue what the future held for the New Zealander. Would he shine? Or would he fall behind the large pool of emerging talent? With the release of "Anaesthetic," the former is the correct response.

If you took anything away from Thomston's School Night EP, it was that this guy could craft some pretty amazing melodies. Lets not forget he's only 18 and is writing music way beyond his years, that's for sure. The entire single flows through seamlessly and it's so hard not to get caught up in the wave of emotion that he portrays.
