Why do we like this?

Anden is one of the newer and exciting electronic acts doing the rounds around New York City right now. I've been tracking the duo's rise for a while now and their steady stream of remixes continually impress.

For whatever reason this track reminds me of some of Deadma5's less intense stuff. It's a 7-minute epic with a steady rise and fall of house beats, with all the synths you can handle and vocals from Thomston's original.

I wonder what's next for Anden? I'm tipping in 2017 we'll see some original work from them, and probably an even bigger cementing of their place in the underground electronic scene in New York City.
