A few days back, I received an email from a dude named Adam Bird. Turns out that he's in a New Jersey-based rock band called Those Mockingbirds. Having no idea what the band sounds like, I decided to check out the link he sent me for their recent single, "How To Rob A Bank."
Hot damn, did that track wake me the hell up. Those Mockingbirds turn the energy up to a hundred thousand trillion in the span of about six seconds. According to the band's Facebook page, "What matters about Those Mockingbirds is the ingrained desire and effort to make music that resonates; music that can be felt in the pit of the stomach and above all, music that matters." Check, check, and check.
