Being consistently touted as one of the best female DJs in the world, it's not hard to understand the fan fixation.
With a reserved calm about her beats, Maya's productions are always intelligent and touching. This month she released a remix of Tiga's "Let's Go Dancing" on a remix compilation featuring Breach, Solomun, and joeFarr. Adding spiraling synths and slowing the vocals down to a growl, this producer takes this house track up to just the right notch. Retaining the original's structure, Maya lays down just the perfect amount of edits to make this a track of her own.
